My revelation between skin care and excercise!

May 11th, 2010

In this day and age, I am becoming extremely aware of the importance of excercise. I know that those vibrating slimming belts from the 50′s are not going to cut it. I need to make a lifestyle change, I need to set goals and stick to a plan. Excerise is key to maintain a healthy heart, strong bones, cholesterol levels….and the list goes ON and ON!! I work out for the health benefits of a long, healthy life, as well as trying to keep the numbers on the scale from climbing up, up, up. We’ve all heard “diets don’t work”…It’s taken me years to realize it, but I think “they” are right…Diets DON’T work. There are small, day to day steps you can do to help achieve and maintain that glowing skin…oh and stress levels too:)

1. DIET: A balanced diet and proper eating habits help keep the body and mind performing at optimal levels. I try to eat unprocessed foods. I am also aware of the eat for your skin diet, which includes foods like Salmom, blue berries, nuts and seeds, leafy greens, sprouts, wheat grasses, etc. Read more…
