LED (Light Emitting Diode) Light Therapy

At the SKN Holistic Rejuvenation Clinic we unite eastern medicine with western technology by incorporating LED into all of our Facials and Acupuncture treatments. This helps to heal the skin after extractions, reduces redness in clients with rosacea, aides in product penetration and general healing and rejuvenation of the skin.

We also incorporate the blue light for all acne facials to help dry up the excess oil in the skin and prevent potential breakouts.

IPL Hair Removal – How it works

nov2109For those of you out there who may be Laser skeptics, I thought I’d write up a little blurb to give a more detailed explanation on how it works and hopefully answer any questions you may have about the procedure.

IPL stands for Intense Pulse Light. The IPL is penetrated through a Safire crystal to target pigment in the hair follicles during the active stage of growth. For example, if you were to pluck out a hair and see a bulb on the end, that is a hair that is currently in the active stage of growth.
