mandyAmanda Beisel ‐  Owner / SKN Practitioner (R.Ac ‐ B.A)

At the age of 22, Amanda decided she wanted more from her career.  With a degree in psychology and a wealth of experience in social care,  Amanda set out to explore the world.  Formative years spent abroad in places such as
Korea led Amanda to the discovery of the powers of eastern medicine.  On her return to Canada she spent several years at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver.

Upon completing her acupuncturist studies Amanda traveled to California to study Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture under the guidance of Martha Lucas.   After seeing firsthand how effective Cosmetic Acupuncture was in decreasing and preventing aging of the skin and treating acne, Amanda was inspired.  This led her to research and study cutting edge anti-aging and skin enhancement techniques such as LED Light Therapy, Micro Current Face Lift and IPL Photo Rejuvenation.

Amanda’s knowledge and passion for health and beauty led her to create SKN Holistic Rejuvenation Clinic.   She wanted to offer people anti-aging techniques and treatments that are effective, safe and address the true source of aging and skin conditions.  SKN would be Vancouver’s first and only natural anti-aging and skin treatment clinic.

adrienne1Adrienne Chan ‐ SKN Practitioner (R.TCMP ‐ B.Sc)

Adrienne began her training at the University of Guelph where she received her Honors Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutraceutical Sciences.  She then pursued post-graduate studies at Vancouver’s International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  While in school, Adrienne also completed additional training under notable experts including Mary Elizabeth Wakefield and Les Moncrieff to refine her expertise in Facial Rejuvenation and Auricular Detoxification Therapy.
Adrienne’s particular interest in alternative therapy grew naturally out of her own healing journey. During her adolescence she had her first encounter with a Chinese Medicine Doctor who corrected her health problems while providing her with first hand exposure to the benefits of Herbal Medicine.  Since then she had been fascinated with the Ancient Healing Arts, and has immersed herself in numerous health related work and volunteer opportunities.

Adrienne believes that Alternative Medicine represents a growing component of the overall healthcare system and is dedicated to offering the highest standards of integrated care, safety, comfort and compassion.   She is very excited to be working with SKN.
